Can you believe that the Land Cruiser has been a steady member of the Toyota lineup for nearly seven decades? It is the oldest and longest-running vehicle still being manufactured by the brand, passing up even the Toyota Corolla. To commemorate its almost 70-years of history, Toyota has designed a special edition version for the 2020 model called the Heritage Edition. Only 1,200 units will be built, but it will offer something special for true enthusiasts and fans of the Toyota Land Cruiser upon its release date late this coming summer.

The most important thing to note about the 2020 Toyota Land Cruiser Heritage Edition is its design. Exclusive to the special trim level, the entire exterior and the interior trim are completely unique. One particular thing to note is the special set of bronze-colored, forged-aluminum, 18-inch BBS wheels that feature “TOYOTA” center caps. Buyers will be able to choose between either Midnight Black Metallic or Blizzard Pearl for an exterior color.
As always, the Land Cruiser is designed to be an off-road-ready powerhouse. For that reason, its powered by a 5.7L V8 engine capable of generating 381 horsepower alongside 401 pound-feet of torque while also being equipped with a host of other performance-enhancing features, such as an 8-speed electronically-controlled automatic transmission, Downhill Assist Control, Hill Start Assist Control, CRAWL Control, Off-Road Turn Assist and full-capability four-wheel drive featuring Advanced Chassis Control among other.
