The new Toyota Grand Highlander is a three-row midsize SUV with an adult-sized third row, seating for up to eight, a turbocharged 2.4-liter engine rated at 265 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque, available all-wheel drive and a tow rating of up to 5,000 pounds. It comes standard with Toyota Safety Sense and a 12.3-inch touchscreen, and it is offered in XLE, Limited and Platinum grades. Hybrid versions are sold separately. For families who use every seat, it is the roomiest Highlander ever.
Manhattan Beach Toyota has helped South Bay families find three-row SUVs that fit their lives, and the Grand Highlander is a favorite. Our team handles sales, financing, factory-trained service and Genuine Toyota parts and accessories. Call or contact us today to find yours.
Enough that the third row is not an afterthought. Adults can ride back there on a trip to Palm Springs, and there is still meaningful cargo space behind the third row, with room for several carry-on bags. Fold the third row and the floor becomes a long, flat load area for strollers, bikes or a run to the home-improvement store.
Thirteen cup holders, a standard 12.3-inch touchscreen and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto keep everyone connected and caffeinated.
The gas Grand Highlander is offered in three grades:
All-wheel drive is available on every grade. Confirm the drivetrain, seating layout and installed packages on each listing.
The Grand Highlander Hybrid offers two options: a 2.5-liter hybrid rated at 245 horsepower with a manufacturer-estimated rating of up to 36 combined mpg, and the Hybrid MAX system rated at 362 horsepower for the strongest performance in the lineup. The gas model is the lower-cost entry with the turbocharged engine's solid torque. If you drive a lot of city miles, the standard hybrid can save real money. If you want the quickest Grand Highlander, see the Hybrid MAX.
The Highlander is shorter and easier to park, with a third row sized for kids. The Sienna minivan offers sliding doors, a lower floor and a standard hybrid, which many parents find easier for car seats. The Grand Highlander splits the difference: SUV styling and AWD with minivan-like space. If you want SUV presence without giving up the third row, it is the one to drive.
Up to eight with a second-row bench, or seven with second-row captain's chairs. Check the seating configuration on the listing.
A turbocharged 2.4-liter four-cylinder rated at 265 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque with an eight-speed automatic.
AWD is available on every grade. Front-wheel drive is standard on the gas and standard hybrid models; Hybrid MAX models are AWD only.
Properly equipped models are rated to tow up to 5,000 pounds. Confirm the rating on the window sticker for the specific vehicle.
It may be on the lot, in transit or in production. Check the status on the listing and contact us with the stock number to confirm.
Often, yes. Contact us with the stock number and we will explain the reservation process and deposit terms.
Bring the whole family and test the third row for yourself. Save the Grand Highlander listings that fit your seating and drivetrain needs, call or message us with the stock numbers and we will have them ready. Our team can also line up the hybrid or the Sienna for a side-by-side comparison and help with financing or a trade-in.
