It seats five, comes standard with Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 and is offered in 1958 and Land Cruiser grades. It returns the nameplate to its roots as a rugged, right-sized off-roader.
Manhattan Beach Toyota is proud to carry one of Toyota's most storied vehicles, and our team supports it with sales, financing, hybrid-certified service and Genuine Toyota parts and accessories. Call or contact us today to learn more about the Land Cruiser.
The previous U.S. Land Cruiser was a large, V8-powered luxury SUV. The current one is smaller, lighter and more focused on capability. It rides on Toyota's TNGA-F truck platform, uses a turbocharged 2.4-liter hybrid instead of a V8 and brings back the boxy, heritage-inspired look of classic models. Full-time 4WD, a locking center differential and an available front stabilizer bar disconnect are standard or available depending on grade. It is built to be used, not just admired.
Two grades, two personalities:
Both share the i-FORCE MAX powertrain, full-time 4WD and Toyota Safety Sense 3.0. Open each listing to confirm the grade and any installed packages.
The 4Runner i-FORCE MAX uses the same hybrid powertrain and platform, but it is offered in more grades, including the Trailhunter and TRD Pro with more extreme off-road hardware. The Land Cruiser answers with standard full-time 4WD, a more premium cabin and a classic design. Both are rated to tow up to 6,000 pounds. If you want the most aggressive off-road builds, see the 4Runner. If you want heritage and refinement, the Land Cruiser is the one.
The gas 4Runner offers a lower starting point, available two-wheel drive and an available third row, none of which the Land Cruiser provides. If you want a truck-based SUV for the occasional trip to the Sierras and daily duty the rest of the year, the 4Runner covers more ground for less. If you want the hybrid torque and full-time 4WD from day one, the Land Cruiser is the better match.
