Walk with Sally Friendship Bowl

March 3 2019

Manhattan Beach Toyota is proud to Sponsor Walk with Sally

Walk With Sally, a 501©3 nonprofit organization, provides hope through our individualized mentoring and community support services to empower children experiencing trauma through a parent, guardian or sibling’s cancer journey.Imagine, being faced with cancer and its devastating effects when your friends are all getting the chance to just be kids.

Walk With Sally comes into the lives of children with stories just like this. Through our programs and services we are able to offer hope to families at times when things may seem hopeless. We are able to give that young adult some extra money for school through our scholarship. We are able to help families with some extra holiday cheer through our hope for the holidays support program. And perhaps most of all, we strive to foster trusting and loving relationships between children and their mentors so that they might be able to help each other heal from the devastating affects that cancer can have on us all.

Making Dreams Come True

Nov 3, 2018

Manhattan Beach Toyota is honored to be presented with the POPs Corporate Citizen Award on November 3, 2018 at the Torrance Marriott.  POPs presents its annual award to companies that demonstrate outstanding commitment to the arts and by motivating others to take leadership roles in community involvement.

Manhattan Beach Toyota shares the same values as POPs in helping create the next generation of young civic leaders by developing life skills that inspire students to become exemplary artists, patrons, leaders and champions of the arts.  More so, we share POPs’ focus on giving back to the community.  They do this through their community performances which give more than 1000 at-risk youth opportunities to experience theatre and GRAACE program, which gives special needs youth much needed programming.

POPs was formed with a goal to provide theatre education and training to all youth, regardless of background.  Since 2007, POPs produces 10 musical theater shows per year, conducts training classes, and educates the community in the arts through our community outreach performance troupes.
