Pet Lovers Event
Coming Soon, Again!
On Sunday, September 9, 2012, Manhattan Beach Toyota is excited to bring top-notch pet care company representatives to the dealership for a day dedicated to our four-legged friends and this time reptiles will be there too. We couldn't be happier to offer our friends and neighbors a day of fun with Pet Trick and Pet Costume Contests, dog races, BBQ, raffles and adoptions.
We invite you to bring your pet to the event and you can also enter for a chance to win a one-year supply of Natural Balance Pet Food. You can also speak with Celebrity Pet Expert Harrison Forbes and ask him your questions about dog behavior.

Tails Wag at Manhattan Beach Toyota
Manhattan Beach, CA, February, 2012--Guests brought their best K-9 friends and even adopted new ones at the latest Pet Lovers Event at Manhattan Beach Toyota. The LoveJoy Foundation found new homes for a record number of dogs at the dealership during the gathering Sunday as pet contests and expert advice were also featured.
Director of the LoveJoy Foundation, Erin Lovejoy, said 11 adoptions were completed Sunday, "By far our best record!" Lovejoy said. "We have never done that well in one day, ever."
Although people may have come to find their next pets, the animals were not the only popular ones drawing a crowd at Manhattan Beach Toyota. Special guest celebrity pet expert, Harrison Forbes, hosted the pet trick and pet costume contests and answered questions about animal behavior throughout the day.
The Fry Girl Inc., stationed in a pink food truck outside the showroom at Manhattan Beach Toyota, supplied treats, such as, fried macaroni balls and sweet potato fries with white and black truffle. The Fry Girl even cooked up a special menu item for puppies: the Chloe Dog--gourmet turkey dogs.
Companies with animal clientele set up information booths at the Pet Event. The Kennel Club LAX and Centinela Feed & Pet Supplies were on hand to provide information about their services and offer giveaways to K-9s and their friends.
The LoveJoy Foundation holds weekly adoptions at the Church of Christ parking lot at 1063 Aviation Blvd., Hermosa Beach every Saturday 10 a.m.-4 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
